Astronomers gearing up for possible 'comet of the century'

Astronomers are getting fired up and set for the arrival of what could be "THE COMET OF THE CENTURY" also know as Comet ISON. This comet is said to become possibly one of the brightest comets ever seen as it glides across the inner solar system. Comet ISON is said to make its appearance sometime in the fall of 2013.

NASA has put together a team of comet experts to observe Comet ISON. Coordinating these efforts to observe on the ground and in space should help improve the quality Science of the Comet's solar flyby.

It's been said that this Comet ISON could possibly shine as bright as the moon when it makes a very close pass by the sun, which is said to happen in late November 2013, zooming just 680,000 miles above the solar surface on its closest approach, which should take place on November 28th if the calculations are correct. Not to be alarmed though, this comet is certainly to threat to Earth.
