Lady Gaga Cancels Show in Indonesia

Islamic hard-liners have threatened violence if the Lady Gage holds her "Born This Way Ball" concert in the world's most populous Muslim country. They are saying that Gaga's sexy clothes and provocative dance moves could corrupt youth. Police refused to issue the necessary permits unless she agreed to tone things down.

Concert promotion lawyer Minola Sebayang confirmed Sunday that the June 3 show has in fact been canceled.

The lawyer said, "With threats if the concert goes ahead, Lady Gaga's side is calling off the concert. This is not only about Lady Gaga's security, but extends to those who will be watching her."

Indonesia, a nation of 240 million people, was supposed to be the biggest performance on Lady Gaga's Asian tour, but that won't be happening.
